    New preventive medical checkups<\/strong>
    There is a large gap between the U9 (at age 5) and J1 (at age 12) checkups. For this reason, the German Association of Pediatricians and Adolescents, together with recognized experts in developmental neurology and adolescent medicine, developed new preventive examinations in 2006.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    On the one hand, this involves physical examinations from head to toe, including vision and hearing screening, and on the other, clarification of movement and speech development, social and emotional development. The screenings are prepared using standardized questionnaires. In addition, if necessary, there are discussions about social or psychological areas such as school, media consumption, exercise behavior, weight problems, risk of addiction, relationships and sexuality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The time limits for the new screenings are:
    U10: at age 7-8 (1st<\/sup> day before 9th<\/sup> birthday).

        Neue Vorsorgeuntersuchungen<\/strong>
        Zwischen der Vorsorgeuntersuchungen der U9 (mit 5 Jahren) und J1 (mit 12 Jahren) klafft eine gro\u00dfe L\u00fccke. Deswegen hat der Berufsverband der Kinder- und Jugend\u00e4rzte Deutschlands zusammen mit anerkannten Experten f\u00fcr Entwicklungsneurologie und Jugendmedizin im Jahr 2006 neue Vorsorgen entwickelt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Es geht dabei zum einen um die k\u00f6rperliche Untersuchung von Kopf bis Fu\u00df einschlie\u00dflich eines Seh- und H\u00f6rscreenings, zum anderen um die Abkl\u00e4rung von Bewegungs- und Sprachentwicklung, sozialer und emontionaler Entwicklung. Die Vorsorgeuntersuchungen werden anhand standardisierter Frageb\u00f6gen vorbereitet. Dazu kommen bei Bedarf Gespr\u00e4che \u00fcber soziale oder seelische Bereiche wie Schule, Medienkonsum, Bewegungsverhalten, Gewichtsprobleme, Suchtgefahr, Beziehung und Sexualit\u00e4t.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Die Zeitgrenzen f\u00fcr die neuen Vorsorgeuntersuchungen sind:
        U10: mit 7-8 Jahren (1. Tag vor 9. Geburtstag)
        U11: mit 9-10 Jahren (1. Tag vor 11. Geburtstag)
        J2: mit 16-17 Jahren (1. Tag vor 18. Geburtstag)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Viele Krankenkassen \u00fcbernehmen \u00fcber spezielle Vertr\u00e4ge bereits die Kosten. Private Kassen zahlen bereits jetzt bis zum 14.
